Creating a Home Management Binder ... - Motherhood on a Dime

On Tuesday, I introduced you to the idea of a home management binder.? I?m baby-stepping my way to set one up!

Of course, the very first step in making a binder is buying a binder!!? ;) ? Right now, I?m just planning to use one I have on hand ? although I?m still debating whether I want to buy a ?pretty? binder.? I?m wondering if I would be more apt to use it!

I?ll think on that some more?for now, let?s begin!!

First, I gathered up some supplies.? Here are some to have on hand:

  • Binder
  • Hole-punch
  • Labels
  • Page dividers
  • Pocket pages

Next, I brainstormed a list of ideas for the categories in my binder.? I?m including a planning section, home section, family section, and blogging section.

Then, I created my cover page.? If you have a pretty binder, you probably don?t need one of these, but I?m filling mine out with my mission statement (adapted for our family).? I thought maybe the daily reminder when I look at it would be helpful and keep me focused!!

If you would like to use my customizable printable (add your own family name and mission statement), you?ll find it in my daily email update at the bottom of every post.? Make sure you?re subscribed and have verified your email subscription.? It should come around 3 PM CST each day.

If you don?t want to subscribe via email, but you would still like a copy, use the share buttons right below this text to access it (you will have to allow the app to have access to your account ? but I promise it?s completely safe)!?

Thanks for sharing my site with others!

Coming up over the next week:? Adding a goal sheet and planning pages!
